The Laboratory of Cognitive and Experimental Neuropsychology is based in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland (UQ). Under the supervision of Associate Professor Alan Pegna, we investigate the neural substrates underlying perceptual and cognitive functions in healthy controls and neurological patients, using different neurophysiological and behavioural methods, in particular EEG and ERP. We are mainly interested in visuospatial and attentional function, and more specifically how stimulus relevance (i.e., the emotional or social value of the stimulus) modulates these functions.
